Detectives Investigate the Death of a Helendale Couple Found Deceased in Their Home

Detectives are currently investigating the tragic incident that resulted in the death of a Helendale couple. According to the official report, 44-year-old Aaron Fulkerson and his 47-year-old wife, Ondrea Fulkerson, were found deceased in their home on Lakeview Drive in Helendale. The couple was discovered with apparent gunshot wounds.

Authorities were called to the scene following a medical aid call, where the couple was found unresponsive. Sergeant Shannon D. Dicus of the San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner Department confirmed, "Upon arriving, deputies located husband and wife, 44-year-old Aaron Fulkerson and 47-year-old Ondrea Fulkerson, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Aaron and Ondrea were pronounced deceased at the scene."

Detectives from the Sheriff’s Specialized Investigations Division have taken over the case. The initial findings suggest that Aaron Fulkerson shot his wife Ondrea before taking his own life. The official cause and manner of death are still pending autopsy results.
