Senator Rosilicie Ochoa Bogh (R-Yucaipa) has announced that a tentative hearing date for Senate Bill 1405 has been scheduled for May 1 at 1:30 p.m.

"The public is encouraged to attend the hearing to express their views, as it will be open to all interested parties," Senator Ochoa Bogh stated.

Senator Ochoa Bogh urges all stakeholders to actively participate in the legislative process by sending letters through the Legislative Letters Portal to the Senate Local Government Committee.

"All correspondence submitted to the committee, whether in support of or in opposition to the bill, will be distributed to all committee members and will be accessible to legislative staff," the Senator emphasized.

"On the day of the committee hearing, the proceedings can be followed live via the livestream available on the Senate’s official website," Senator Ochoa Bogh explained.

For additional assistance or inquiries, individuals are encouraged to reach out directly to Senator Ochoa Bogh’s Capitol office.

The final confirmation and the committee room number for the hearing will be listed in the Senate Daily File as soon as they are finalized. Information on the bill’s progress can be found on the LegInfo website, where individuals can also sign up to track the bill using the “Track Bill” feature.

It is important to note that no teleconferencing options are available for this hearing; therefore, all testimony must be given in person.

For those interested in obtaining copies of any letters submitted to the committee, they can contact Senator Ochoa Bogh’s Capitol office, and copies will be provided upon request.
